UML Politburo Meeting: Annual Action Plan Presented and Discussed

Kathmandu: The CPN (UML) held a politburo meeting today at the party's central office in Lalitpur, where the annual action plan was presented for discussion. The meeting, presided over by party chair KP Sharma Oli, saw UML General-Secretary Shanker Pokharel introduce the plan, which focuses on key areas such as party membership, expansion, documentation, and the evaluation of party committees and leaders.

According to the party's publicity department chief, Rajendra Gautam, the action plan aims to assess the effectiveness and lawfulness of party committees, ensuring that they complete assigned tasks and remain active. The plan also includes strategies for better mobilization of government and people's representatives, as well as efforts to communicate the government's achievements to the public.

All politburo members are scheduled to share their views on the action plan in tomorrow's session. The final plan will be disclosed after incorporating recommendations from the members.
